SFM Company Timesheet Policy

Timesheet Completion

  • Submit timesheets throughout the day to ensure accuracy; all timesheets should be submitted by the end of your shift/day.
  • If unforeseen circumstances prevent on-time submission, submit by the next business day.
  • Submit a timesheet for every workday, regardless of hours worked (full, partial, or no work).
  • Use PTO and UNPAID time off codes for non-working hours.

Time Entry Accuracy

  • Round start and stop times in 15-minute increments, using your best judgment.
  • Timely and accurate entries ensure efficient payroll processing and minimize errors.

Serious Violations

  • Any attempt to gain unearned wages through careless or false timesheet entries is considered a violation of the employee handbook and may result in termination.

Late Submissions of Timesheets

  • Late entries are only allowed within one business day after the pay period ends (15th and last day of each month).
  • Late submissions may cause significant delays in your paycheck due to manual processing.
  • Missing timesheets will be processed in the subsequent paycheck, but repeated instances may necessitate further discussion.

By continuing employment with the SFM, employees acknowledge their understanding of and compliance with this timesheet policy. I understand that this policy is a guideline and subject to change. The Human Resources Department is available to answer any questions (615-321-2037).
